On 4 December 2017, the 29th Hong Kong Print Awards, which is also known as the most recognised annual awards ceremony for the printing, publishing and graphic arts sectors in Hong Kong, was held at the Kowloon Shangri-La. As one of the esteemed sponsors for GAAHK and the Hong Kong Print Awards, GEHK was accredited on stage a certificate of appreciation at the event, in recognition of its valued contribution. The glamorous evening attracted more than 300 guests and business leaders from the industries involved. A total of 85 awards were presented to winners of outstanding works, exhibiting an elevated standard of this year’s entries. The Awards aims at recognising excellent design and print works, fostering healthy competition, and providing learning opportunities among industry counterparts, in a way to enrich the industry as a whole. Apart from having the winning entries showcased in Hong Kong, there may be exhibition opportunities in the Mainland and overseas regions, too. This would help promoting the market exposure of top-notch design and print works from Hong Kong.
