Printing Harmony Printing Beyond 

The award presentation ceremony and the gala dinner of the 6th Sinar Mas Print Awards were successfully held on 24 Oct 2013, more than 400 printers and publishers took part at Hangzhou InterContinental Hotel for contesting 17 gold awards, 33 silver awards and 59 Bronze awards in total of 17 printing categories. 

2814 artworks of 1339 printing companies from nearly 22 countries and regions were received in this year, proving that the competition has been embraced. With full knowledge and rich experience in printing technology, print design, pre-press and print finishing, the judging committee, consisting of 11 international well-known professionals from USA, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Mainland China, thought that this year’s was ever fierce and witnessed by a strong growth in the level of printing quality and techniques. Apart from the entries of digital printing and printing innovation, the entries of green printing and innovative applications were being concerned. 

Mr. Simon Ho of Hubert Burda Media said, 'This year’s overall quality of entries was the highest in the six years of competition; therefore, winning any medal is a great achievement for the entrant company and its staff.' 

Miss Glady Chau of Asia One Printing Ltd., who won a silver medal in the 5th Sinar Mas Print Awards, said, 'We have been participating in the competition in the last few years. Knowing that members of the judging committee coming from around the world and are not the same every year, which ensures the independence and credibility of the judging process. Therefore, we strictly conducted quality checks on our works prior to submission.’ 

Miss S.H. Chen of Zhongshan Tai Xing Paper Bag Co. Ltd. said, 'This is my first time to take part in the awards presentation ceremony. It is a good opportunity and a valuable experience to learn from outstanding awarded artworks. We will definitely join the competition next year.'
